Webinar: What WPA3 means for your Wi-Fi in the next 12 months – ANZ session

Your guide to the new security standard – features & timelines

Join our WPA3 workshop online and get everything you need to know on the new security standard and the implications for your network in the next 12 months.

WPA3 was announced in 2018 and becomes mandatory for new clients accessing your network from June 2020. It promises to better secure network connection, addressing common concerns with legacy authentication and encryption methods – but supporting it will require some planning.

We’ll provide an update on the main features and timelines, as well as the additional safeguards needed to work with WPA3 for more holistic security:

  • The main requirements of the security protocol
  • The benefits, including better defense against brute force attacks, including password cracking, and greater cryptographic protection
  • Breaking news on vulnerabilities and how to factor for them
  • What devices and OSs will support WPA3, when?
  • Review of the top mistakes and misconfigurations that leave networks open to compromise, and what you can do about them
